The property is very beautiful - right in the lap of nature but not also situated in the city limits by the highway for easy access. The view from rooms, amenities like pool, fitness center and hospitality were remarkable. There is some scope for improvement with regard to the very basic facilities in the room, which do not scream five-star at all. The kettle in the room was not very clean, so were the flasks that carried hot beverages. The room gives you the feel of a very well-maintained three-star property (the bed sheets, bed, atV unut, etc. were clean and hygienic). The look and feel of the room (beds, furniture, etc. is not up to the mark). The center air conditioning does not work well - the cooling facility may be ok for those living in Kerala, who are used to the warm temperatures but for others, this cooking of the air-conditioning is not sufficient. It's always maintained at 23 degrees with a low of 18, which does not feel cold at all. Aside from the aforementioned mild discomfort, the property is beautiful, the staff are courteous, the amenities are good. I'd definitely stay at Kadavu again but will continue to wish for the changes to be made to truly feel the five-star experience.
